On Monday, February 28 at 7:30 PM, the Department of Music is pleased to present the long-awaited Network for New Music concert INTERSECTIONS celebrating Jan Krzywicki’s 30th anniversary as the conductor of the Network ensemble and his many contributions to music.  The program features: Krzywicki’s Catching Light and the premiere performance of Arabesques de près et de loin II for flute, viola, and harp; Rainbow Chaser, a newly commissioned work from former Krzywicki student Michael Shingo-Crawford; and Waves, a 30-minute major work commissioned for the occasion from Grawemeyer Award-winning composer Sebastian Currier.

This event will take place at Haverford College’s new Michael Jaharis Recital Hall and is free and open to the public. Please note that indoor masking is required.  The concert will also be presented via live stream at THIS LINK.
