Did you know that there are over 600 species of conifers in the world? These mainly evergreen trees are characterized by having seed-bearing cones and needle-like leaves. Join horticulturist Charles Bone for a walking tour of campus where you will learn how to identify some of the most common genera of conifers (spruce, pine, fir, etc.). This introductory class is meant for the novice/beginner level. Wear good walking shoes and dress for the weather as this event will occur rain or shine!
