On Wednesday, February 23 at 4:15 PM, the Kessinger Family Fund for Asian Performing Arts and the Department of Music at Haverford College present Music and Conversation with MUSIC FROM CHINA "Masterpieces of Chinese Music". Rich sonorities and compelling melodies of Chinese music are invoked by Music From China on the erhu (2-string fiddle), pipa (lute) and ruan (moon guitar). The trio performs a program of Chinese classical and folk music reflecting time-honored traditions and diverse regional styles.
This concert will be held in the Michael Jaharis Recital Hall in Roberts Hall, and is free and open to the public. Please note that indoor masking is mandatory.
