Small Solitary Giants is a personal exploration into our relationship to the world around us, to one another, and to the camera. Centered on three people—Bilge Nur Yılmaz, Edouard Chardot and Inès Vanlaeys— the exhibition revisits images captured by Logan de Raspide Ross ’23 over the summer of 2021. Taken on film, these photos depict moments from Philadelphia, Demigny in France, Vienna in Austria and Trieste in Italy, juxtaposing the subjects' intimate humanity with the vastness and impersonality of their settings.
Logan de Raspide Ross '23, is a junior Astrophysics major who never really knows what to say or write about himself when asked. In the wise words of Gag Halfrunt: "[he's] just zis guy, ya know?"
