Igniting Real Change: Fighting for what’s right with America Ferrera

Award-winning actor and producer America Ferrera may be best known for her roles in Ugly Betty, Superstore, and The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, but she is also a longtime activist for women’s rights, social justice and immigration. During this engaging conversation, Ferrera will share her passion for supporting women and women owned businesses, and discuss her new venture into co-owning a National Women’s Soccer League team in LA alongside other influential women such as Natalie Portman, Jennifer Garner, Serena Williams, Eva Longoria, and more. She will also discuss the need to grow women’s sports and why the lack of a professional women’s sports team in Philadelphia needs to change. Additionally, with the 2020 election just months away, Ferrera will elaborate on the importance of voting and why this election is critical to our future.
