Visit the Magill Wing (quiet reading room) of Lutnick Library to view this exhibition, on display through April 28th!

Join us for an opening talk and reception on Monday, March 20th at 4:15pm in Lutnick 200.

This exhibition was created in partnership with Tokyo-based multidisciplinary artist Shuzo Azuchi Gulliver and the students in the Bi-Co East Asian Languages and Cultures Department “Third Year Japanese” (Kimiko Suzuki) and “Modern and Contemporary East Asian Art” (Erin Schoneveld) courses. Through collective conversation and collaboration with the artist, students examined the materiality and ephemerality of postwar Japanese art as well as the various ways in which Gulliver’s artistic practice challenges and deconstructs linear narratives of time.
