Join us for a Zoom talk by Mercè Crosas, University Research Data Management Officer with Harvard University Informational Technology and Chief Data Science and Technology Officer at Harvard's Institute for Quantitative Social Science.

Zoom: https://haverford.zoom.us/j/98920180335

Data management is becoming an essential part of the research lifecycle. Data policies from funders and journals, and open science best practices, require that data used in research studies be made available at the end of the study to verify the results and be reused for future research. Thus, managing, curating, and sharing the data should be planned as part of any complete research project. This talk will introduce the Dataverse project and describe how Dataverse repositories can provide a solution for sharing the research data associated with a study and make them findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable (FAIR), supporting data policies and best practices.

This event is free and open to the public.
